Your Event Initiatives

Only the point of contact for an Event Initiative can update the Initiative’s profile.

The information provided here creates a public profile for your Event Initiative on science.events. These profiles are meant to help those with a professional interest in public science events (including other science.event members), learn of and connect to your work. Please answer questions as if you are responding to a colleague, and thank you for keeping this profile current.

If you are interested in creating a profile to connect with public audiences and attendees, please consider posting your event using the ScienceNearMe exchange (coming soon).

As prolific as you may be, the expectation is that most members will register no more than a few Event Initiatives that broadly cover their public science event efforts. As the word “Initiative” implies, these are not one-offs, but ongoing (such as an annually recurring festival, an ongoing event series, all of the public events associated with a single organization, etc.). If this doesn’t fit your situation, we’ll try to find an arrangement that does.
