Getting There and Accommodations
The main Summit conference will be held at the Carter Center in Atlanta. Depending on traffic, the Carter Center is a 25 minute car ride from the Atlanta Airport (a major international hub). For those arriving at ATL, we recommend getting around by cab/ride share or public transportation. Most Summit events will be clustered in one neighborhood, so a rental car is not necessary. For those planning to drive, the Carter Center does offer free parking during the day.

A set of discounted rooms at a hotel near the Carter Center is being arranged for Summit registrants. The will be announced to attendees that register for the Summit.
The conference venue is fully ADA compliant as is the conference hotel.
Balboa Park is a beautiful local landmark that is north of the conference area but worth a visit if you have the time! Inside you'll find lush gardens, incredible museums, and many of San Diego's hidden gems.
You may notice a little baseball stadium from the hotel rooftop bar and that would be Petco Park where the San Diego Padres play! Take a moment to walk down and around in the lovely San Diego summer and maybe even catch a game! Petco Park is where the expo for the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering takes place each year!
You may need an uber to get there, but the USS Midway is a decommissioned aircraft carrier parked on San Diego's water front and now open as a maritime museum and events space! If you're scoping out creative venue ideas, this one is a must see.
